ImagePoint, formerly Plasti-Line, is the nation’s largest designer and manufacturer of signage and other branding imagery for most of the biggest, most well-known brands in business. Customers include General Motors, Ford Motor Company, BP Oil, McDonalds, and Mercedes-Benz. The company desired to relocate from a suburban office at a plant site to a new corporate headquarters in downtown Knoxville.
The designers used both new and historic photographs and models of the company’s work to portray its 50+ years of history as well as to create a sense of pride and purpose among its associates and customers. The office design was also to promote team work, flexibility and productivity, a contrast from the open “bullpen” approach of the older facility. The 57,500 SF facility opened in 2003.
