Responding to the needs of its membership and trends in the fitness industry, the YMCA created a new 4,500 SF Wellness Center, a new men’s locker room and 1,500 SF exercise studio.
MHM’s scope of work expanded to include a complete redesign of the women’s locker area and the adjacent fitness area due to a fire that occurred during renovation to the facility.
New windows were punched into former racquetball courts to flood the new Wellness Center with light and allow the membership a view of downtown Knoxville as they exercise.
