Maryville College's largest residence hall complex, Llyod Hall and Gibson Hall are sited to form a large open-air courtyard with terraces and lawn areas to encourage robust student interactivity. Llyod Hall opened its doors to students in 2003. Gibson Hall was completed in 2008 and is identical to Lloyd Hall except it is a mirror image.
